The Danforth Museum of the Arts and The Frame Garden are celebrating the late Russell Chatham and his legacy with an exhibit and webinar.

Chatham was a larger-than-life character, active in the local art, restaurant and publishing scenes, a news release from the Frame Garden, owned by Laura Bray, said.

He was known for his landscape paintings and perhaps known to most locally for his lithographs. Exploring his art and his artistic impact on Livingston will be three panelists: his daughter Lea Chatham, his printer Geoff Harvey, and fellow artist Parks Reece. Storrs Bishop will moderate the evening’s presentation.

The webinar will be live streamed at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19 on Facebook. The video will also be available for viewing later with details on The Frame Garden website and Facebook page, the release said.

The exhibit of lithographs will be at The Frame Garden starting Nov. 20.   Ten percent of the proceeds of sales will go to the Danforth Museum of the Arts.

For more information call The Frame Garden at 222-5122.
